NO, Research shows that there has never been any harm to the developing baby from ultrasound scanning. Ultrasound is one of the safest means available for scanning unborn babies, click here for more details.

A clear and real picture of the baby can be seen throughout the pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy i.e. 20 to 26 weeks, one can see amazing movements of the baby and at the later stages; one can see more details of the face. In the case of twins, the duration between 21-24 weeks of pregnancy is the most suitable time for ultrasound session.

NO! You must already be receiving treatment with a healthcare provider for prenatal care and have already undergone a medical, diagnostic Ultrasound ordered by their provider to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and to look for any other pregnancy related issues. This is for entertainment purposes ONLY. We would only confirm the heartbeat, the number of babies in the pregnancy, the position of the baby, and the placental location. At no time is this exam to be used in place of a complete diagnostic Ultrasound.

Yes, all of our services require an appointment. Please Call (905) 216-4531 and we will schedule your appointment. However, Since our service is for parental upkeep purposes, we do not require any referral documents from a doctor.

3D ultrasound is a still 3 dimensional image of your baby and 4D adds the dimension of time, allowing you to see your baby’s movements in the womb in real time. While you do go home with images of your baby (3D), the most miraculous part of the experience is seeing your baby move inside the womb. You will see them smile, yawn and play with their toes.

Most of our 4D sessions include a DVD of your session set to lullaby music. We capture it all for you on video so that you can relive the experience again and again. A CD includes all of the still images that we capture of your baby. It will include as many images as we can capture during the session which can vary from baby to baby depending on their activity. You can use your CD to print photos and share with family and friends.

We use the most advance and updated technology, state of the art Accuvix A30 which specializes in 3D & 4D ultrasound. It is leading the new standards in 3D performance as it renders sophisticated images, detailing skin tone and facial features. See Equipment for more details.

Most often, but not always. Sometimes if the baby is persistently looking face down, towards your spine it may be difficult to see the baby’s face. Other factors, such as the baby facing the placenta or lack of amniotic fluid in front of the baby’s face, may affect the quality of the images.

We will try repositioning the mom, asking her to walk around, etc. to see if we can obtain a better position. If we are unable to obtain images during the session, we will schedule a repeat scan, allowing time for the baby to turn to a favorable position.

We make no promises that the images will be similar to those you might have seen elsewhere or even from our location, or that we can always meet everyone’s expectations. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, and mother’s condition. We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images.

Yes. We encourage our clients to invite family and friends to attend the elective 3D/4D Ultrasound session. This is a joyous and memorable experience, one that can be shared with your family and loved ones. We can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people in addition to the mom. Babies and children are also always welcome at our facility.

Yes, in most cases we can provide an indication of the sex of the baby. We can’t however guarantee that the baby will cooperate during your session. Certain factors such as body tissue content, developmental stage (for example: if it is 10 weeks gender, 12 weeks gender, 13 weeks gender etc. and client told us 20+ weeks but it is not) and fetal position all affect the ability to determine sex. If we are unable to determine the sex of the baby, we will reschedule a quick peek return visit at no additional cost. We will continue to offer this return visit until we can obtain an optimum view or wait until baby is 20+ weeks.

Yes. It is totally your choice whether you want to know the gender of your baby or not. If you do not want to find out the gender of your baby, you will never know. We can avoid the gender area during the ultrasound session.
